I really like the idea of a condensed Philadelphia focused on center city philly skylines and surrouding it with old-city, "south street" landmark, liberty bell, Love park, some row homes and docks.
The 'zoomed out more condensed' view of the map of philadelphia's streets where you can't see most of them and only see the highways lends itself to the imagination pretty well.
I like the idea of san fransisco but it's a GTA place and they did a really good job of its shape in their game, they would undoubtedly do it again next go-around.
If you look at some philly photos and google about landmarks, day trips, malls, there is even this really cool mall there that goes under skyscrapers and is someone open in places with big open entrances.
That all said, a lot of those places look cool. Boston looks really cool. I still really like Philly, having seen it, it's like new york in weather but somehow a bit more colorful and vibrant in the buildings and surroundings, look into ground level, too. It's a really historic place with a lot of opportunities to make cool models.
We have been tossing aorund a robot platforming pixar with a twist of twisted in it and a bit raunchy but maybe not as bad as fur day, and bit more grown, but still edgy. Some props I made. Pickups. Just placeholders - spit things out as fast as we can, let it be improved later, when we even know what is needed or not or how we'll use a given thing. Figure aside from these themed things, a smallish but large for platformer type 64 adventure-grown-up game could give us some stuff to start with, certainly gets the basics of gameplay out of the way for larger projects like a whole city:
