Hi,
Has anyone heard news from Spark, Brian, Augusto, recently?
Are they still in the project?
What's happening? Have they reached there limit?
What is the futur for Grit? Is it over? Has everyone given up?
Is it OK to take the Grit source code somewhere else and to start over with a new name and a new team and under a GNU license?
bye

Yes, I chat with Augusto 2 weeks ago on IRC, I think he did a fix, but he was less implicated last year.
I chat with Spark last year and beginning of the year.
Never chat with Brian.
I think GRIT it's more hobby, because everybody has jobs, families ...

Why under GNU license or an other team it's will be better ?

I think it's easier to continue GRIT or branch it inside existing infrastructures, unless you have a huge team behind you.

I suggest you to visit the chat room and chat with us and particularly with Spark to see the alternatives and/or possibilities.

I would like to do more stuff like finish many things that i mentioned in this forum, but..

In the begining doing things on Grit was fun and very gratifying

But now i understand that Grit is kinda far from "stable", and i cannot do it alone. Doing many things all by myself is not fun, i find myself pretty bored/stressed after an hour working on Grit (but is not only Grit)

Not only that, but i noticed that i did most stuff in Grit when i was more "hopeful" with my life, but things didn't changed a bit since 2014, so i only got more old and nothing else, besides bad things, like not having any "degree" and not finding any job as i'm not qualified to do anything (i though Grit would be useful as a "experience point" to finding a job, but nope, nobody cares..)

Currently i'm trying to develop a game, even though i'm in an infinite loop in attempt to finish anything "enjoyable", failing miserably so far (not using Grit)

I'm still checking the forums once a month, but I'm not sure if i will do anything considerable in the future :P
